Tottenham Hotspur Defeats Chelsea 2-0, Boosting Hopes for Top Four Finish in Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur strengthens top four finish hopes with a 2-0 win over London rivals Chelsea.

Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane scored the goals for Spurs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Meanwhile, Chelsea extended their winless run to six matches.

Graham Potter’s side managed only one victory in their last 11 games in all competitions.

Hakim Ziyech was shown a red card but later rescinded to a yellow following an altercation with Emerson Royal. Skipp scored his first-ever goal for Spurs 19 seconds into the second half.

Kane sealed the victory eight minutes before full time. Spurs assistant coach Cristian Stellini expressed his desire to win, play a great game, and fight for every ball.

Antonio Conte is recovering from surgery, and Stellini expects him to return this week. Chelsea stays 10th in the Premier League table, while Spurs move four points clear of fifth-placed Newcastle.
